Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 29, 2026
This policy explains how the iOS app Stitch Fiddle Row Tracker (the "App") handles information. The App is published by SHEUNG TAK DISPENSARY LIMITED ("we", "us"), which is responsible for the processing described here. Contact: support@duysoft.org.
In short: there is no account. Your charts and progress stay on your device. Text and photos you send to the AI tools are processed by Google Gemini and OpenAI only after you agree. The App shows ads from Google AdMob and its partners, and uses analytics and attribution tools, described below.
1. Information stored only on your device
Charts, row and stitch progress, saved projects and inspiration, your language and app settings are stored locally on your iPhone or iPad. We do not receive them. They are removed when you delete the App.
2. Content from our server
Tutorials, projects, inspiration and stitch guides are loaded from our server. Like any web server, it receives your IP address, the time of the request and basic technical details (such as app version and device type) in order to deliver the content and keep the service secure.
3. AI features (Pattern Canvas, Chat AI, Size Calculator, Chart Symbol Reader, How to Fix)
Before you use these tools for the first time, the App asks for your permission. If you agree:
- The text you type and any photo you choose to attach are sent to our server and passed to third-party AI providers, Google (Gemini) and OpenAI, to generate the reply or concept image.
- We do not send your name, contacts, location or advertising identifier with these requests, and we do not use them to identify you.
- The providers process the requests under their own terms for business API customers. See Google's Privacy Policy and OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
- Please do not include personal or sensitive information in prompts or photos.
If you tap "Not Now", nothing is sent and the AI tool closes. You can still use every other feature.
4. Advertising
The App is free and shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may fill ads through its partners AppLovin, Meta Audience Network, Pangle (ByteDance) and Mintegral. These companies may collect your device's advertising identifier (only if you allow tracking), IP address, approximate location derived from it, device and app information, and how you interact with ads, in order to show, limit, measure and prevent fraud in ads.
- Tracking permission: on iOS the App asks for permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", your advertising identifier is not shared and ads are not personalized using it. You can change this in iPhone Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- EEA, UK and Switzerland: Google's consent message lets you accept or reject personalized ads; you can change your choice in the App under Settings > Ad Privacy Choices.
- Learn more: How Google uses information from apps, AppLovin, Meta, Pangle, Mintegral.
5. Analytics, crash reports and attribution
To understand which features are used, fix crashes and measure our advertising campaigns, the App uses:
| Service | Purpose | Data |
|---|---|---|
| Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics (Google) | Usage statistics, crash reports | App events, device and app information, app instance ID, crash logs |
| Adjust | Install attribution and ad revenue measurement | Device information, IP address, advertising identifier if you allow tracking |
| Meta SDK | Measuring our ads on Meta platforms | App events, device information, advertising identifier if you allow tracking |
| TikTok Business SDK | Measuring our ads on TikTok | App events, device information, advertising identifier if you allow tracking |
| Apple Search Ads attribution | Knowing whether an install came from an Apple Search Ads campaign | An attribution token generated by Apple, sent to our server |
We use this information in aggregate. We do not sell your personal information for money. Sharing advertising identifiers with ad and measurement partners may be considered "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under some US state laws; you can opt out by declining tracking as described in section 4.
6. Videos
Some tutorials play videos through the embedded YouTube player, which is provided by Google under Google's Privacy Policy. Opening an external video link takes you outside the App, after a warning.
7. Photos permission
When you attach a photo, you choose it in Apple's photo picker; the App receives only that photo. When you save a generated image, the App asks for permission to add it to your photo library; it does not read your library.
8. How long we keep information
Data on your device stays until you delete it or the App. Requests to our server, including AI requests, are kept only as long as needed to answer them and in short-term server logs for security and troubleshooting. Third-party services keep data according to their own policies linked above.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or California law), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal information, to withdraw consent and to complain to a data protection authority. Because the App has no account, most information can be removed by deleting the App and resetting your advertising identifier. For any request, email support@duysoft.org; we answer within 30 days. Where we rely on consent (AI tools, tracking, personalized ads in the EEA/UK), you can withdraw it at any time as described above.
10. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. International transfers and security
Our service providers may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States. We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all network requests and rely on providers that offer appropriate safeguards.
12. Changes
We may update this policy when the App changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. Significant changes will also be noted in the App Store release notes.
